Brian L. Jackson is an accomplished intellectual property attorney who represents plaintiffs and defendants in high-stakes patent lawsuits from pre-filing through trial and appeal. Mr. Jackson has a long track record of building and guiding successful patent strategies in federal courts nationwide and matters before the International Trade Commission.

Before joining the firm, Mr. Jackson worked as an intellectual property partner at one of the country’s largest law firms and later led a practice where he directed an extensive patent licensing and enforcement program covering the worldwide automotive industry.

While earning his electrical engineering degree, Mr. Jackson was a member of the Advanced Design Group for American aerospace giant McDonnell Douglas Corporation. Since then, he has been called on by many of the world’s leading companies from various industries for his expertise in intellectual property matters, including Apple, Chevron, Intel, and many others.

An avid animal lover and rescue organization volunteer, Mr. Jackson serves on the board of directors for Houston’s Veterinary Surgical Assistance Program, a nonprofit provider of medical assistance for low-income animal owners.

  • Advanced Delivery & Chemical Systems, Ltd. v. Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. Successful representation of patent owner ADCS in patent infringement litigation involving chemical delivery systems used to manufacture semiconductor chips, resulting in a favorable settlement for the client.
  • Lantronix, Inc. et al. v. Digi International, Inc. Successful representation and settlement for patent owner Lantronix in patent infringement litigation involving device server technology.
  • Vixel Corp. v. QLogic Corp. Successful defense of QLogic in patent infringement litigation involving Fibre Channel switching products, including a favorable settlement for the client.
  • Celanese International Corporation v. Millennium Petrochemicals, Inc. – Successful representation of patent owner Celanese in patent infringement litigation involving acetic acid catalysts and processes, bringing another favorable settlement for the client.
