In one case, a patent holder abandoned over half of the contested claims after IPRs initiated by Ms. Pendergrass on behalf of a major consumer electronics innovator. Cases like that explain why she has been ranked among the top IPR practitioners for petitioners in the country by Patexia, an independent research group.

Her litigation prowess is evident in her role as the lead technical analyst in a case where her client secured a summary judgment of non-infringement, effectively eliminating a $500 million patent infringement claim against a leading video game console manufacturer.
