Ken Wall is an experienced trial lawyer with more than 35 years of experience representing plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal courtrooms throughout Texas and nationwide. He is licensed to practice in all state courts in Texas and Louisiana and multiple federal district courts in both jurisdictions.

Mr. Wall has worked alongside attorneys at Alavi Anaipakos in significant lawsuits on behalf of franchise owners, oil and gas shareholders, and prominent families, among others. For the first 15 years of his career, he primarily represented large corporate entities, including Hoechst Celanese, Exxon Mobil, and General Electric. In 2001, he moved to New Orleans, became a member of the Louisiana bar, and worked at a firm specializing in national class actions. He returned to Texas in 2004, where he now represents both plaintiffs and defendants, largely in business disputes.

His commitment to improving the legal profession includes his current role as a Constitutional Law Instructor at the University of Houston, where he has helped prepare future generations of lawyers for more than 30 years. Mr. Wall’s work on behalf of aspiring attorneys also includes his prior position as a Government Instructor at Houston Community College.

  • 2470 Cadillac Resources Inc., et al. v. DHL Express (USA) Inc. – Mr. Wall represented a large group of former DHL Express franchisees in major litigation filed in New York, Texas, and other U.S. jurisdictions, relating to DHL’s decision to discontinue domestic overnight delivery services.
 
  • Saleh Shenaq, et al. v. Baylor College of Medicine, et al. – Mr. Wall represented the estate of noted Houston physician Dr. Saleh Shenaq in a high-profile lawsuit against the Baylor College of Medicine and others. The case was settled on highly favorable terms, which remain confidential at the defendants’ request.
 
  • Culliver v. George Bishop, et al. – Mr. Wall represented an equity shareholder in an independent oil and gas company in a shareholder oppression case seeking over $150 million. The defendant agreed to settle the lawsuit under confidential terms before trial.
 
  • Levi Coppedge v. K.B.I., Inc. and Sabatti, S.P.A. – Mr. Wall represented a young man and his parents in a products liability suit against an Italian shotgun manufacturer. The case, which involved a gun explosion and a traumatic brain injury, was settled for a confidential amount after his opening statement in federal court in Lufkin.
 
  • Amir Shenaq v. AkinMears G.P. – Mr. Wall represented the plaintiff in a breach of contract action involving an employment agreement. The case was centered on mass tort litigation financing and was covered by the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, and Forbes, among others. The defendant agreed to settle the lawsuit under confidential terms.
