The publishers of the annual Benchmark Litigation Stars rankings recently announced the 2026 list of the country’s best courtroom attorneys, and experienced trial lawyers Amir Alavi and Demetrios Anaipakos of Houston’s Alavi Anaipakos are recognized once again for their years of work in high-stakes intellectual property lawsuits and significant business disputes.
The Benchmark Litigation Stars list is compiled through extensive interviews with trial lawyers about who they view as the leading attorneys in their region and practice area, as well as feedback from clients and background research on the candidates.
Mr. Alavi and Mr. Anaipakos are among the rare group of Texas attorneys to be Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, which is reserved for lawyers with a high degree of experience and expertise. Both attorneys have been board-certified for more than a decade.
